New Delhi. Athlete Neeraj Chopra, the biggest hope for a medal for the Indian team, entered the qualification round. In the qualification of javelin throw at the Paris Olympics, the Tokyo gold medalist secured a place in the final by throwing 89.34 meters in the first throw itself. His teammate Kishore Kumar Jena failed to make it to the final. Both the players have been placed in different groups. Jeena is included in the first group of 16 athletes. Kishore failed to make it to the final. Now everyone’s eyes are on gold medal winner Neeraj Chopra.
In javelin throw, two athletes of the Indian team came out to present their claim on the 11th day of the Paris Olympics. Neeraj Chopra and Kishore Kumar Jena were to enter the men’s javelin throw. India faced failure in the first group. Kishore Kumar failed to achieve the mark of 84 meters in the qualification. He had to be eliminated in the first round itself.
In the qualification round of the javelin throw event at the Paris Olympics 2024, Kishore Sena threw the first throw of 80.73 meters while the second throw was a foul. After this, in the third throw and the last throw, he was able to throw the javelin only up to 80.21 meters.
